Job 33:4 NLT- For the Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Good morning fellow disciples.
I love the play on words in this verse. First, Elihu says that it is the Spirit of God who has made him. Then he goes on to say that the breath of the Almighty gives him life. But we also know that the breath of God is the Spirit of God.
We recall in Genesis that God breathed the breath of life into Adam.
Without God’s Holy Spirit, we would not have life. Without God’s Holy Spirit we cannot be born again. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are born of the Spirit.
We receive new life, eternal life!
Do you know the life giver?
Have you been born again?
Do you have the life giver within you?
Prayer: Lord God, thank You for birthing me through Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for life eternal. Help me to proclaim Your WORD so that others can be born again. Amen.
