Then [His disciples], forsaking Him, fled, all [of them].

Good morning fellow disciples.
Do you remember the conversation that Jesus had with His disciples earlier that evening? Let us revisit it:
Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will run away, because it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered. But after I have been resurrected, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.”
Peter told Him, “Even if everyone runs away, I will certainly not! ”
“I assure you,” Jesus said to him, “today, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times! ”
But he kept insisting, “If I have to die with You, I will never deny You! ”
AND THEY ALL SAID THE SAME THING.

Some prophetic words don’t take long to come to pass. It was just a few hours later and ALL the disciples forsook Him and ran away!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You always speak the truth! I will now stop doubting You. I will believe every word that You have said and that is recorded in Scripture. I will believe every word that You speak to me through Your Holy Spirit. I will act in obedience to Your Word, both now and forever! Amen.
