Peter started to say to Him, Behold, we have yielded up and abandoned everything [once and for all and joined You as Your disciples, siding with Your party] and accompanied You [walking the same road that You walk].

Good morning fellow disciples.
Have given up and abandoned everything to be a disciple of Christ?
Let me paraphrase. Have you yielded up and abandoned everything once and for all, and joined Jesus as His disciples, siding with His party, and began walking the same road that Jesus walked?
Everyone who hears the gospel is faced with that choice. Some refuse to make the choice. Some say that they have chosen to follow but they really haven’t let go of their sinful lifestyle.
Then there are those who truly have surrendered and submitted totally to become Jesus’disciple.
Can you testify like Peter did?
Behold, I have yielded up and abandoned everything once and for all and joined You as Your disciple, siding with Your party and accompanied You, walking the same road that You walk.
If not, what do you need to do today to surrender all to God?
Spend time today sorting out your commitment to God.
