Scripture : ‘There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.’ Proverbs 14:12 KJV
Insight : The scripture above was taken from the book of proverbs, a book written by the wisest man to ever live, King Solomon. Solomon, having wisdom and understanding says in the text that men have our own ways of doing things. We have solutions for problems, plans, dreams, but Solomon says the end of it is death. You may be saying we all have to die yes but death is the beginning.
What about eternity? God’s way of doing things is perfect, fruitful and timely. He ensures that we get the best result from His method even if it doesn’t look that way. All we need to do is listen to and accept Jesus Christ for Him to show us the way to life.
Prayer : Heavenly father I have walked in my own wisdom and what I believed to be right for so long. Please come into my life and show me your way, the way that leads to life. Amen
