Scripture: “I already told you,” he said, “and you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You don’t want to become His disciples too, do you? ” John 9:27 HCSB
Observation: Have you ever been in the position where you are not being believed no matter how many times you tell the truth ?
Not everyone will believe us when we speak the truth. The problem is that the listener just does not want to believe.
In this story the man kept answering truthfully in this pressuring situation. When we have an encounter with God we should be bold like this man in testifying about what God has done for us. We should never yield to the pressure to change ‘our story'( our testimony) due to the fear of persecution.
Application: I will speak the truth and testify about what Jesus has done for me despite pressure from others to do otherwise.
Prayer: Lord Jesus I will testify about you wherever I go. Amen
Very interested. This I promise I will testify of Jesus wherever I go
Very often we change our story to avoid things looking bad. However, the truth gives more insight of the goodness of God.
