“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 HCSB
Good morning fellow disciples.
This verse is a part of the letter that Jeremiah wrote to the exiles in Babylon. This is part of the promise that God gave to them. The “you” in this verse is referring to God’s chosen people who were exiled for their blatant disobedience to God and for continually breaking their covenant with Him.
But even while they were being punished and they were far away from God relationally, God was making provisions for them and encouraging them to seek Him again. He told them that if they seek Him wholeheartedly, then they would find Him.
Are YOU far away from God in your relationship with Him? Are you guilty of sinning against Him and breaking your covenant with Him? Have you been praying to Him and not getting responses? Do you feel as if you are not connected with Him?
Fret not ! Here is God’s promise: ‘ You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.’ DO THIS and your fellowship with God will be restored . He is patiently waiting for YOU to seek Him.
Prayer : Father God I believe in Your word to me today. I want to find You, so I seek You now with all my heart. Forgive me for not pursuing You with my everything. I repent, and I turn from all that has distracted me from seeking You wholeheartedly. Restore and strengthen our relationship and fellowship I pray, in Jesus’ name, amen.
