“I called to the Lord , who is worthy of praise, and I was saved from my enemies.” Psalms 18:3 HCSB
Good morning fellow disciples.
I called to the Lord and I was saved from my enemies. When you are in problems who do you call to? And when you call to them are you saved? I guess the answer is sometimes yes, sometimes no. The persons who we choose to seek salvation from sometimes are not persons of good character. Sometimes we get out of our problems but it comes at a cost that sometimes is worse than facing those problems.
This morning let us look at the phrase, worthy of praise. God it’s worthy to be praised, God is worthy to be worshiped. When we worship Him in all honesty and we are fully surrendered to Him, then He will hear our call and respond to it. When you call on others to help you in your problems instead of going to the Lord, who are you honoring? Are these other persons worthy to be praised? Are you missing the mark, sinning against God by not choosing to go to Him?
Prayer : Father God You are worthy of all praise, and this morning I honor You by humbly bowing before You in all reverence. I call on You now to deliver me from my enemies. Strengthen our fellowship with each other Lord. I want to know You more so that I will be able to praise You more fully. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and teach me Your ways, I pray, amen.
Amen. What a loving, always available, never failing God we serve! Hallelujah! He is truly worthy of our praises.
He is worthy of praise. He extends so much Grace and Mercy daily. What have I done to deserve all he gives? Nothing. Do I deserve it? No. He continues to give it. That is why I praise Him
