Philippians 3:8 NLT- Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.
Good morning fellow disciples.
What do you love? What do you own? What would you like to have?
If you are a disciple of Christ, all these things are worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus as your Lord. If you are given the choice today of choosing Christ, or something that you love, own, or would like to have, what would your choice be?
Everything in this world will one day perish. Everything you love, own, or would like to have that is of temporal value cannot give you eternal life.
You can only discover life’s true meaning through your relationship with God. Knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord is the only way to have fellowship with God.
Do you know Jesus Christ?
Have you put aside everything so that you can gain Christ?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, everything is worthless when compared to knowing you. I put aside all distractions and anything I consider valuable so that I can gain You.
I want to be perfect, and I know that the only way to achieve that perfection is to live completely surrendered and submitted to you. Amen.
