Acts of the Apostles 1:8 NLT – But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Good morning, fellow disciples.
These were the last words of Jesus recorded in the book of Acts just before he ascended to heaven. He had told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they received the gift of the Father, which was the Holy Spirit and power. When they received the Holy Spirit, they would be empowered to become His witnesses throughout Judea, in Samaria, and the entire world.
Have you received the gift of the Father?
Are you witnessing to people everywhere telling people about Jesus?
If you are a disciple of Christ, you must be a witness for Him! Are you faithfully carrying out this task?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I have no excuse. I have received the gift of the Holy Spirit, and I am empowered to witness about You. I will go and tell the entire world about You. Amen.
