Scripture : “I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude.” Psalms 109:30 NKJV
Observation : We can praise the Lord in many ways. One way that the psalmist speaks of ( pun intended) is with his mouth. I am impressed with the phrase ‘I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth’. How does he GREATLY PRAISE the Lord? Does he shout, exclaim, sing, or use other creative speech?
“Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude”! Wow, he must really be praising God! He does not want to be outdone by others or be less worshipful in a crowd. What a sight it must have been to see him worship with such fervour ? Oh to think, speak and, act in this manner !
Application : I will not be afraid to praise God without restraint. I will praise God in public and not be worried about what other persons think. I will express my praise freely so that others will be encouraged to praise God in a similar way also.
Prayer : Father God, I am so encouraged by these words, “I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude.” God, I will praise You with my mouth: Glory ! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus!
