Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 BSB
Good morning, fellow disciples.
Wait is defined as: “to remain stationary in readiness or expectation.”
God is faithful. God is truth. God is wisdom. God is the one who knows the end from the beginning. God knows the plans and purposes that He has for our lives. It is through God’s direction and God’s direction alone that we can truly live fulfilling lives.
Wouldn’t you therefore want to put your trust in Him?
Jeremiah 17:9 AMP states that: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives?”
Do you want to put your trust in the heart of man, whether that is your heart or the heart of someone else? This verse says that the human heart is more deceitful than anything else.
Who will you wait on? Who will you place your trust in as you expectantly wait?
Prayer: Father God, I put my trust in You and I WILL WAIT ON YOU! Amen.
