For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 BSB
Good morning, fellow disciples.
Wait is defined as: “to remain stationary in readiness or expectation.”
We all like to make plans in order to secure our futures. We go to school to get an education in order to have careers that will provide for our basic needs and our luxuries. We envision bright futures which most times we do not accomplish. But our God who is faithful and who always keeps His promises has great plans for our future.
Do you trust God’s plans for your future?
Are you willing to wait, to remain stationary in readiness or expectation, for God’s plan for your future to come to pass?
Prayer: God, I really don’t know all the plans that You have for me. I do know that You have a plan that will secure my present and my future. I put ALL my trust and my faith in You. Until You tell me, or until it works out, I will wait in expectation, patiently, and obediently doing Your will. Amen.
Waiting on the Lord. He never fails
