Wait in Prayer

Pray without ceasing.

Wait in Prayer

Good morning, fellow disciples.

Wait is defined as: “to remain stationary in readiness or expectation.”

A simple definition of prayer is “to simply focus on God “. We focus on God by:
1. Reading God’s Word and meditating on it.
2. Listening to sermons and teachings from the word of God.
3. Fellowshipping and speaking with others in the Kingdom of God, and
4. Having conversations with God.

Do you pray without ceasing by using these four areas of focus?

Do you focus on God while reading His Word and meditating on it?

Do you focus on God, focus on getting to know God, through listening to sermons and teachings from His Word?

When you fellowship and speak with others in the Kingdom of God does your conversations bring God into focus?

When you are having conversations with God is the focus on you or is it on God?

It’s not hard to pray without ceasing when you do these four things every day. Your focus can be on God throughout the day, even if you are not having conversations with Him at all times. Our lives should be prayer. Our thoughts, speech, and our actions can all be acts of prayer.

Prayer: Father God, let my life be a life of praying without ceasing. Amen.
