Wait In Ambush

Wait In Ambush

Godly people have vanished from the land; there is no one upright among the people. All of them wait in ambush to shed blood; they hunt each other with a net.
Micah 7:2 HCSB

Good morning fellow disciples.

Wait is defined as: To stay; not to depart ;to stop or remain stationary, till the arrival of some person or event.

As you reflect on your life, has there ever been a time where you were convinced that someone was waiting in ambush for you? There are times when our enemies will plan out how they will hurt us, and they wait for their appointed time at their appointed place so that they can put their plan into action.

There will always be persons who will behave like this. My question is:”Do you have persons who will protect you and look out for you?”

In this passage Micah says that the godly people have disappeared from the land and all who are left are evil. Is this a situation that you are in? Are the persons around you evil, and is there no Godly person who is there with you?

Let me ask two more questions.
Are you one of the Godly persons who is able to help someone who is being ambushed?

Have you disappeared, and now the person who is in need has no one to stand by him?

Prayer: Father God, we know that persons are waiting in ambush, but we have You on our side. We have Your Holy Spirit in us.

We are authorized and empowered by our Lord Jesus to save, heal, and deliver. We stand, therefore, in Your authority and power to help those in need. We will fulfill the calling on our lives as Your disciples and let Your kingdom become a reality here on earth, so that people can instead say that “GODLY PEOPLE FILL THE LAND”. Amen
