1 Corinthians 1:10 NLT – I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
Good morning fellow disciples.
Examine your church!
Are you living in harmony with each other? Are you divided? Why is there division among you?
In Paul’s first letter to the church at Corinth his appeal to them is that they should live in harmony with each other. He pleads with them in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ that there be no division in the church.
It was obvious that there was division in the church. Paul knew that they needed to redirect their focus. They needed to be of one mind! They needed to be united in thought and purpose!
As the body of Christ, we need to redirect our focus to God and His will for the Church! We need to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, we submit to You! We will live in harmony with each other as Your united church! Amen.
