Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will do it.
Psalms 37:5 BSB
Good morning, fellow disciples.
Wait is defined as: “to remain stationary in readiness or expectation.”
Psalms 37:5 paraphrased reads as follows: Obligate or pledge your method, style, or manner of doing something to the Lord; Have strong belief in Him and His ability, and He will do it.
While you’re waiting on the Lord, do you commit your ways to Him?
Do you submit your method, style, or manner of doing things for His review and acceptance?
Do you give up your desire to do things your way in order to do things His way?
Do you trust God to deliver on His promises? Do you trust Him to use your submission and surrender to Him to bring forth exactly what you desire?
Are you willing to patiently wait on Him to do it instead of trying to do it in your power?
If you are willing to do all these things, then you truly are trusting God while you wait on him.
Prayer: Father God, I have committed my ways to You. I trust You. I know You will do it. Amen.
