Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:30-31 NKJV
Good morning fellow disciples.
Wait: To stay or rest in expectation; to stop or remain stationary, till the arrival of some person or event.
We can’t do it in our own strength! Even though we may eat properly, exercise and are trained in the ways to accomplish what needs to be done, we still can’t do it in our own strength! Even the strongest and most prepared among us will faint. There are limitations to what they can do.
However, those who stay and rest in expectation that God will work in and through them will be revived and their strength will be renewed. It is in waiting on God and working with Him that we find the strength to do what He has called us to do.
What area of service or ministry has God called you to?
Are you feeling weary?
Have you fainted? Are you burnt out?
If you are, have you been trying to do it in your own strength?
Have you been working along with the Lord for a while but now you have tried to do it in your own strength?
Whatever the reason for you not being strong enough now, why not take some time to wait on the Lord?
HE WILL RENEW YOUR STRENGTH, YOU WILL WALK AND NOT FAINT!
