‘You know what I was like when I followed the Jewish religion—how I violently persecuted God’s church. I did my best to destroy it. ‘Galatians 1:13
Good morning fellow disciples.
Paul’s testimony demonstrates the power of God’s Word and His love for us. Paul used to persecute the Church of violently, but then he had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. After this encounter, Paul accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His life changed dramatically!
Then: people were afraid of him.
Now: they praised God because of him.
Galatians 1:23-24, ‘All they knew was that people were saying, “The one who used to persecute us is now preaching the very faith he tried to destroy!” And they praised God because of me.’
What is your then and now story like? What testimony do you have because you have been saved by Jesus Christ?
Paul changed, you changed, and so can the person who is currently not following Christ. Go and tell them the good news about Jesus Christ! Share your testimony! Let them see that they too can change from one who is an enemy of Christ to be totally accepted and loved by Christ.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are the one who makes the difference. Because of You, we can change from being enemies of God to being children of God. Thank You for Your sacrifice. Thank You for loving us. And thank You for making it possible for us to be a part of Your ecclesia, Your body, Your church. Amen
