“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!'” (Romans 8:14-15)
Good morning fellow disciples.
Take a moment to reflect on your life! Has fear been a constant part of it?
Have you been afraid to make decisions, afraid to act, afraid of situations or things, afraid of people, or afraid of God?
Do you realize now that you have been enslaved by fear for most of your life?
Fellow disciples, as sons of God, we have been freed from the bondage of fear and given the Spirit of sonship. We are no longer slaves to fear.
We can now approach our Heavenly Father with the confidence and intimacy of beloved children, calling Him “Abba” with reverence and trust. Let us live our lives of newfound freedom as sons of God!
Prayer: I’m no longer a slave to fear, I am a child of God! Thank You Father God for freeing me and making me Your son! Amen.
