Then Pilate questioned Him again, “Are You not answering anything? Look how many things they are accusing You of! ”

Good morning fellow disciples.
Why don’t you respond to accusations that are made against you?
Do you listen to the accusations or do you just ignore them?
How do you feel when you hear the different and multiple lies that people spurt out about you?
It’s interesting that Jesus only answered the questions that addressed His identity?
Are you the Son of God?
Are you the King of the Jews?
Every other question was not important to Jesus. He gave up His life in the way that God wanted. He testified and they used His testimony to wrongfully condemn Him. In this way His death glorified God and paid the price to redeem us.
If Jesus was put to death for another trumped up charge we would NOT have been redeemed!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for sticking to God’s plan so that we could be redeemed. Thank You for not being drawn out by the multiple accusations from these persons. Thank You for showing us that there is a time to answer and the time to keep silent. Help us to follow the leading of Your Holy Spirit who lives within us so that we can be effective witnesses for You here on Earth. Amen
There is a time for everything.
Thank God for His redeeming love.
