And they crucified Him; and they divided His garments and distributed them among themselves, throwing lots for them to decide who should take what. [Ps. 22:18.]
Mark 15:24 AMPC
Good morning fellow disciples.
Some people talk while they are working, some people don’t. I wonder, did the crucifiers talk or stay silent while they were in the process of crucifying Jesus? Were they emotionally detached or were they emotionally involved in the process?
After they crucified Him they gambled for His clothes. We don’t know what was said or how it was said. They knew that Jesus was going to die and He had no need for His garments. They were willing to get what they could from Him {His clothes}, and they were willing to cast lots for it.
Today, we know that Jesus died and was resurrected. He paid the price for us to be free.
So, are you willing to do receive what He died for?
Are you willing to accept salvation, healing, deliverance and, to be made whole?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, Your crucifiers gambled to see which piece, and how much of Your clothing they could get. We know that You died so that we could receive everything that Father God has in store for us. Wholeheartedly, I come now to receive salvation, healing and deliverance, so that I can be made whole. Thank You Lord for these wonderful life changing gifts. Amen
