The Final Hours -The Nonverbal Conversations Part 12

By Andrew Williams

And when the sixth hour (about midday) had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour (about three o'clock).

The Final Hours -The Nonverbal Conversations Part 12

Good morning fellow disciples.

It was the brightest time of the day but there was darkness over the whole land for three hours. The Light of the world was crucified. He was close to death. His light was going out.

For three hours Jesus could not shine anymore. It seemed as if darkness and evil had conquered Him.

Because He was willing to sacrifice His life to pay for our redemption,

1 Jesus had no option but to stay on the cross.

My question to you is this: “What do you do when you’re overwhelmed by darkness and can’t shine anymore?”

Sometimes the atmospheric conditions or the ambiance that is around us mirrors what we are going through. Many times people come into a room and they say it feels heavy because we are depressed. Many times persons enter a room and they feel empowered because the ambiance / atmosphere is one of peace and love.

What type of atmosphere are you carrying around you?

Is it one of darkness or is it one of light? Does it portray the enemy or God almighty?
