Good morning fellow disciples.
The devil is here! Many persons thinks that he is up in the second heavens, but the Bible clearly says that the devil is here. He is on earth with us.
We see him in the Garden of Eden, tempting Adam and Eve. We see him in Job 1:7, walking around the earth watching everything that’s going on. The devil is very observant.
When Jesus came to live on the earth, we find the devil presenting himself once again.
What did Jesus tell John in Revelation about the status of the devil and the location of the devil?
Revelation 12:9 NLT -This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.
What did Peter tell us about the devil?
1 Peter 5:8 NLT- Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
My fellow disciples, we need to be aware that our enemy is here with us. We do not need to be afraid. We need to be vigilant. We need to be alert. We need to prepare ourselves to fight against him constantly, and to defeat him every time he comes to us.
Prayer: Lord God, thank You for making it clear that the devil is among us. Thank You for giving us every tool that we need to defeat him. You said that we should resist the devil and he will flee us. By Your Holy Spirit, help us to continue resisting him and to defeat him every time he comes to us. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
