Scripture : “Tell Daughter Zion, “Look, your King is coming to you, gentle, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.” Matthew 21:5 HCSB
Observation : Tell Daughter Zion: Have you heard the News? Or are you the one with the news to give to others? News needs to be relayed. The greatest news ever is the gospel of the kingdom of God: have you heard it or have you shared it with someone else?
This can be summarized by John 3:16 – “For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus came and died in our place so that we can be freed from sin, sickness and demonic oppression. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord then you are saved.
Application : I will hear the good news.
I will accept the good news.
I will share the good news.
I will teach others how to share the good news.
Prayer : Father God help me by Your Holy Spirit to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ who will go into the world and make disciples who will do all that Jesus has taught and commanded. I want to share the gospel everywhere I go. Help me to be faithful to your calling on my life, amen.
