Later King Zedekiah secretly requested that Jeremiah come to the palace, where the king asked him, “Do you have any messages from the Lord?” “Yes, I do!” said Jeremiah. “You will be defeated by the king of Babylon.”

Good morning fellow disciples.
Petition: something asked or requested, or an earnest request.
Are you someone who does not have a good relationship with God, but you desire to hear from God?
Do you know someone who has a great relationship with God and hears from God regularly?
Do you go to him and ask him to speak to God on your behalf?
In this passage, the King wanted to know if God had given Jeremiah, the prophet, a message for him. Please remember that a prophet speaks the WORD of God. When he speaks, he does not speak what he thinks, but exactly what God has said to him.
Even though you do not have a great relationship with God, are you willing to listen to the man of God who hears from Him?
If you’re having difficulty hearing from God, go to the man of God and speak to him to see what God has revealed to him for you.
Prayer: Father God, thank You for placing persons in my life who hear from You when I can’t. Thank You for revealing Your expressed will to them when they bring my petitions to You. Amen.
