‘The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers. ‘ Acts of the Apostles 9:31
Good morning fellow disciples.
Imagine being on the run, constantly looking over your shoulders, knowing that there was no safe place to be because someone was hunting you in order to kill you.
This was what the early church was undergoing, and the main persecutor was a man named Saul. Then suddenly he was converted and became a part of the church too. After this we see that the church experienced peace.
The church became stronger because the believers lived in reverential fear of the Lord. And the church grew in numbers because of the encouragement of the Holy Spirit.
Is your church strong? Are the members living in the fear of the Lord and being obedient to His WORD?
Is your church growing in numbers? Are the believers continually being led by the Holy Spirit?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, we want to be strong and growing. We will continually walk in the reverential fear of God and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. As we live as Your empowered disciples, we will fulfill Your great commission to spread the gospel and make disciples throughout the world. Amen.
