Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

Good morning fellow disciples.
Do you sometimes feel as if you are dunce when it comes to understanding God’s word, God’s provisions for you, and His plan for your life? When we were saved we were overjoyed. For the majority of us we have spent years trying to figure out how to function as Christians. Many of us have strayed away from God, and many of us continue living unfulfilled lives.
Why is this? As disciples of Christ we have received the Spirit who is from God that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. However, many of us do not fellowship with Him so that we can:
1. learn how to live for God,
2. Understand God’s word,
3. Operate in the Power of the Holy Spirit, or
4. Know our role as Kingdom Disciples.
Only God’s Holy Spirit can teach you the things of God and bring God’s knowledge and understanding to you. If you want to know everything that God has freely given to you so that you can live the godly life, surrender to His Holy Spirit’s leading in your life.
Prayer: Father God I want to know You. I want to know everything about what You have freely given unto me. I know that Your Holy Spirit is the one who will reveal all to me, so I humbly surrender to Him living in me and teaching me.
I want to live the way You want. I receive all that You have given and I use them to live as your faithful child. Amen.
