Acts of the Apostles 12:5 NLT- But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.
Good morning fellow disciples.
The church was united in prayer for Peter when he was imprisoned by Herod. Because of their united earnest prayers Peter was miraculously rescued from prison!
Whenever we see the believers united in the Bible great things happened. When there was disunity the spread of the gospel and the growth of the church was hampered.
Our identity as sons of God should foster a deep sense of unity within the body of Christ. We are members of the same family, called to love one another, bear one another’s burdens, and work together for the advancement of God’s kingdom.
May we cultivate a spirit of harmony, laying aside our differences and embracing the bond that unites us as children of the same Heavenly Father.
Prayer: Father God, we will be your united sons! We will lay aside all differences and humbly serve each other so that Your Kingdom will grow! Amen
