In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.” (1 John 4:9)
Good morning fellow disciples.
Everyone deserves to be loved, and what greater love is there than the love of God?
The truth is that God has always loved us and will always love us. But many of us don’t know this reality. We think that God hates us because we are sinful. But the truth is, God loves us so much that even while we are in our sinful state, He has sent His Son to save us.
Notice that verse says that in this the love of God was made manifest. He showed His love! He proved to us that He loved us by sending His only son into this sinful world to die for us!
There is no greater love than this!
Through Christ, we have been adopted as sons and daughters, and this love should compel us to live for Him. Are you living your life wholeheartedly serving God?
Prayer: Father God, thank You for loving us and redeeming us so that we can live as Your beloved sons. Amen.
