Sons of Compassion

By Andrew Williams

“You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:26)

Good morning fellow disciples.

God is a God of compassion. He has sympathetic consciousness of others’ distress together with a desire to alleviate it.

He saw how mankind was suffering because they were enslaved by sin. His desire was, and is, to redeem us from sin and to make us His beloved children.

God made it possible for us to be His sons if we would, by faith, accept His Son as our Savior.

Our status as sons of God is not based on our own merit, but on our faith in Jesus Christ. Through our trust in Him, we have been adopted into God’s family and granted the full rights and privileges of sonship.

Have you placed your faith and trust in our compassionate Father?

May we walk in this identity of sons of God with humility and gratitude.

Prayer: Compassionate God, we accept Your redemption. By faith, we place our trust in You to become Your beloved sons. Amen
