Songs of Confidence

By Andrew Williams

My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!
Psalms 108:1 NLT

Good morning fellow disciples.

Confident is defined as having strong belief or full assurance; sure.

The psalmist declares that his heart is confident in God. With his innermost being, with his entire life, he is confident in God.

He has no doubt about who his God is! He is fully assured of the character of his God!

With this deep-seated confidence, he goes on to declare: ” no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!”

Can you also make this declaration: ” My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart! “

Prayer: My Lord, God, and King, I know who You are. You are God Almighty! There is nothing that you cannot do. You love me unconditionally.

That’s why I can confidently sing:

“I have Confidence in You,
Jesus,
I have Confidence in You,
Savior,
I have Confidence in You,
Any time, anywhere
I have Confidence in You,
Jehovah.”

With all my heart:

“I sing praises to your name, oh Lord,
Praises to your name, oh Lord
For your name is great
And greatly to be praised.”

Amen.
