Sing to the Lord our Savior

Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
Psalms 96:2 NLT

Good morning fellow disciples.

Prayer at its root is simply communicating with God. For the next thirty days we will see instances where we are encouraged or commanded to sing unto the Lord. We will see examples of persons communicating with God through song.

As we spend our time in prayer this month, I encourage you to sing songs of praise or worship, or another hymn or spiritual song.

Today God’s Word to us is to:

1. Sing to the Lord

2. Praise the Name of the Lord, and

3. Proclaim daily the good news that God saves!

Your task today is to:

1. Choose a song to sing unto the Lord, praising Him for being our savior, and

2. Go out and spread the good news that God saves.

Will you do that today?

Prayer: Lord God, You are our savior. You have redeemed and rescued us from the power of sin. We praise You! We honor You! We glorify You!

We sing along with all creation as in Revelation 5:13 NLT: “Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.”
