Sing to the Lord! Praise the Lord! For though I was poor and needy, he rescued me from my oppressors.
Jeremiah 20:13 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Redeem means: 1. to save (someone) from sin, error, or evil, or
2. to pay the necessary money to clear (a debt).
We are all in need of redemption. Some of us have personally seen God show up to save us from the different types of oppression that we have experienced.
Some of us are still waiting in faith for our God to redeem us. We wait expectantly for the God we trust to redeem us.
God is our redeemer! He has saved us from sin, evil, and the different forms of oppression that the devil has employed to keep us bound.
God has already redeemed us! The sad thing is that some people are still living oppressed because:
1. They don’t know that they have been set free,
2. They refuse God’s redemption, or
3. They have been tricked into believing that they still have to pay for what God has already paid the price for.
Will you help these people by spreading the good news that God Has Redeemed them?
Prayer: Lord God, thank You for redeeming us. No one could but You could pay the price for our redemption. Thank You, we are:
“Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it!
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;
Redeemed through His infinite mercy,
His child, and forever, I am.”
Amen.
Amen
