Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song. Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful.
Psalms 149:1 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Praise the Lord fellow disciples! As we fellowship together today let us sing praises to God! When you meet together with other faithful disciples, praise God in song.
We all have favorite hymns, choruses, and songs that we love to sing when we assemble together. In Psalms 149:1 we are encouraged to sing a new song to the Lord.
Remember that all the songs that you love to sing to the Lord were at one time new songs. Do you have a song that is new?
Can you write and sing a new song to the Lord?
Think of who God is to you, what He has done for you, what He is doing in your life, how He is using you to establish His kingdom, and write a song of praise to Him.
Our prayer today is my new song:

Praise the Lord, let your voices rise,
In the assembly of the faithful, we harmonize,
A new song we sing, with hearts ablaze,
To honor our God, in so many ways.

Through trials and triumphs, He’s by our side,
In His embrace, we forever abide,
So let the world hear our joyful song,
In the assembly of the faithful, we belong.

Sing to the Lord, with joy in our hearts,
His love and grace, our souls it imparts,
In unity we gather, our voices strong,
Praising our Savior, all day long.
