Seek to Listen God’s WORD

By Andrew Williams

“Sit down and read the scroll to us,” the officials said, and Baruch did as they requested.
Jeremiah 36:15 NLT

Good morning fellow disciples.

WORD is defined as the expressed or manifested mind and will of God.

Baruch had a scroll filled with prophecies that Jeremiah had asked him to write down. Jeremiah had instructed him to go into the city to read the scroll to those who were there. When persons heard the reading of the scroll the officials called Barack to come to them and read it to them also.

Do you love God?

Are you seeking to know His expressed and manifested mind and will?

When you hear about someone who is giving God’s WORD, do you seek him out?

When you know of places where God’s expressed and manifested will is being done, do you seek to be there also?

How willing are you to sit down to hear God’s WORD regardless of whether it is a rebuke or a blessing?

If you are a disciple of Christ, you need to know God’s WORD. You need to place yourself in positions where you will hear God’s WORD.

Are you doing that?

Prayer: Lord, I want to know Your WORD! I will seek to find persons who I can sit and listen to, as the speak Your WORD {Your expressed and manifested mind and will}. Amen.

  1. May God help us to humble ourselves to accept the blessing/rebuke as we listen to the word wherever we go today.
