Confess: to declare faith in or adherence to.
What type of relationship and fellowship do you want with God?
Many of us see God as being up in heaven far away from us. Many of us only approach Him when we need something. Many of us believe that we can have relationship with Him, but only when we {emphasis on we} feel worthy enough after we have cleaned ourselves up.
Most believers accept that they have God’s Holy Spirit living in them. However, this can have many different interpretations. Some see God’s Holy Spirit as being a power boost when they need to do something for God. Some see Him as the Lord of their heart, while others see Him as the Lord of their entire lives.
No matter how we interpret our fellowship with God, one thing is certain: when we confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, GOD COMES TO LIVE IN US and WE LIVE IN GOD!
Isn’t that marvelous, mind-blowing, and awesome!
WE BECOME INSEPARABLE FROM GOD!
Can there be any greater reward than that?
Prayer: Father God, thank You for rewarding us with the mind-blowing reward of Your presence when we confess Jesus Christ as Your Son. I am in awe that You would want to live in us. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Amen.
