Then after speaking to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the accompanying signs.

Good morning fellow disciples.
As we end these devotionals from the conversations of Jesus from The Book of Mark, we see that the disciples obeyed Jesus.
“They went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the accompanying signs.”
As they preached, the Lord was working with them!
When we preach, the Lord is working with us!
This was the last conversation that Jesus had with them prior to being taken up into heaven. He had spent three years having conversations with His disciples. Many of these conversations were not recorded. What we do know is that from these conversations His disciples got to know Him, they fellowshipped with Him, and they learned to live like Him.
Over the past 237 days we have looked at some of these conversations as recorded in The Book of Mark. It is my prayer that we all have come to know Jesus better, come to understand Him more, learned to fellowship with Him, and learned to be surrendered to His will and His way.
Prayer: Father God, thank You for sending Your Son into the world to preach the good news of Your Kingdom. Thank You Lord Jesus for making disciples who would continue Your work here on Earth. Thank You for patterning the lifestyle that we should live!
I am grateful that You have accepted me as one of Your disciples. I am grateful that you continue to accept us, as Your disciples. We Believe Lord, and we will go out into the world to preach the gospel, and the accompanying signs will attest to Your Word because You are working with us. Amen.
