Good morning fellow disciples.
Jesus had just rebuked His disciples for their unbelief and hardness of heart. They have now seen the risen Jesus! Now, they believe. Now they believe because they have had an experience with Him that proves that His words are true.
It is to these disciples who believe that Jesus now gives His final commandments here on Earth.
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.”
Jesus revealed Himself to His disciples when they were at very low points in their walk with Him. He pointed out their folly / mistakes/sin and then went on to commission them for greater service.
Are you at a low point in your relationship with God?
Is there unbelief in your heart?
God still wants to use you! His Holy Spirit has not left you! All you have to do is listen to Him, and He will direct you what to do!
Jesus’ command still holds true for us today so,
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation!
