And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.
Romans 8:26-27 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Precant is defined as “A person who prays”.
Are there times when you are trying to pray but the words just don’t come? Are there times when you are praying and it just doesn’t seem as if you’re getting through to God? Are there times when you have prayed and you don’t receive an answer from God?
Sometimes we need someone to intercede on our behalf. Sometimes we ask someone else to pray for us but they can’t pray in the manner that we really need. The best person to pray for us is the Holy Spirit!
Holy Spirit knows the mind of God, He has direct access to God, and He can speak to God in ways that we can’t. Their fellowship and their relationship is such that His prayers are always answered. His prayers are always within the will of God, unlike ours that are often times soulish.
Don’t you want the Holy Spirit to live within you so that He can pray on your behalf when you can’t?
Prayer: Father God, thank You for giving me the perfect person to live within me. Thank You for giving me the perfect person to pray on my behalf.
Thank You for this reminder Lord, that:
“And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words. God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.”
Romans 8:26-27 TPT
Amen.
