“If you love Me, you will keep My commands. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit — the Father will send Him in My name — will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.

Good morning fellow disciples.
When we obey the commands of the Lord Jesus Christ we will be blessed with the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself said that when He left this earth that Father God would send someone just like Him to be with us forever. That person is the Holy Spirit, who in this passage is described as the counselor, the one who would give advice and the one who would teach us everything that we need to know while bringing remembrance of the words of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit is here with us forever! Holy Spirit is our counselor! Holy Spirit is our teacher! Holy Spirit is the one who allows us to remember everything that the Lord Jesus Christ has taught!
He plays the most integral part in our lives as disciples and ambassadors of the kingdom of God. Is it a wonder that we need to redirect our focus to Him?
How much time do you spend fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit of God?
How much time do you spend listening to the Holy Spirit of God?
How much time do you spend lovingly working with the Holy Spirit of God as you witness for Jesus?
Prayer: Holy Spirit, forgive me for not placing much focus on You! I sometimes spend all my prayer time seeking God the Father and God the Son, and totally ignore You who is with me at all times.
As I redirect my focus to You, my counselor, teacher, and constant companion, help me to walk with You the way that Jesus did! Amen.
