Jesus answered him, “What I’m doing you don’t understand now, but afterward you will know.” “You will never wash my feet — ever! ” Peter said. Jesus replied, “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with Me.”

Good morning fellow disciples.
Are you trying to live the Christian life but still unsure about many things? Are you doing the things that you are told to do but don’t understand why you need to? Are you resisting God’s directions because you don’t think that they are necessary, or because of your pride or self centeredness?
Are you like Peter who said: “You will never wash my feet — ever! ”
Listen carefully to what Jesus says: “What I’m doing you don’t understand now, but afterward you will know. If I don’t wash you, you have no part with Me.”
And,
“I assure you: Whoever receives anyone I send receives Me, and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

Do you want to fellowship with God? If the answer is yes, then you have to accept what Jesus has done, is doing, and will do for you. You have to receive the gospel preached by the ones Jesus sends. When you do this you not only receive the gospel, but also Jesus and Father God!
Humbly accept God’s Word and His emissaries, and come into Fellowship with God!
