Then David praised the Lord in the sight of all the assembly. David said, May You be praised, Lord God of our father Israel, from eternity to eternity.
1 Chronicles 29:10 HCSB
Good morning fellow disciples.
Praise is defined as: the expression of respect and gratitude as an act of worship; and to glorify (a god or saint) especially by the attribution of perfections.
Are you shy, reserved or an introvert? Are you outgoing, extroverted, or an attention seeker? We all have different characteristics when it comes to showing praise.
Many of us are great at giving praise to God, but we prefer to do it in the privacy of our own homes, or away from the public eye. Some of us are comfortable offering private praise to God and also doing it in public. Some of us prefer to offer praise in a public setting.
However you do it, or wherever you do it, what is important is and that God deserves to be praised!
God speaks to us in private, so Praise Him in private.
God reveals Himself to us in public, so you need to praise Him in a public setting. Don’t be shy! Don’t be reserved! Be bold and praise Him with your entire being. Praise Him with your body, praise Him with your soul, and speak boldly in public as you praise Him!
Your public praise can change how persons view God, and the way that they offer praise unto Him.
Prayer: Father God, I will honor You in public. I will praise You in the sight of everyone. I will show the world how much I love You, and how worthy You are to be praised. Amen.
Amen! So true!
