“Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.
Matthew 10:32 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Confess: to declare faith in or adherence to.
Yesterday I reported that while I was alone, but speaking out loud, I gave my heart to the lord. Afterwards, I was still timid to share my confession in public with others. However, two years later that changed.
I remember being at a summer church camp, and during a mid-day worship session I publicly made my confession. I PUBLICLY declared my faith in Jesus Christ.
For the rest of the camp, I was confessing Jesus Christ as my Savior. When the camp ended, I continued to confess Jesus publicly at church, school, and at home.
Have you been acknowledging Jesus Christ publicly?
Have you been teaching your fellow disciples about the importance of professing Jesus Christ in public?
Do you encourage others to confess Jesus publicly?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I will acknowledge You publicly here on earth so that You will acknowledge me in heaven to Father God.
But more importantly, I want to encourage and teach others how to confess You in public. When we do this, many persons will hear about You and get a chance to accept You as Lord, Savior, and King.
Help us, Your disciples, to faithfully confess You publicly. Amen.
