Scripture : “But we will bless the Lord From this time forth and forevermore. Praise the Lord!” Psalms 115:18 NKJV
Observation : Bless means ” to speak well of”.So this verse is saying that we will speak well of the Lord. Can we honestly say that we often speak well of the Lord? Many of us do not “bless” the Lord. We curse, accuse, beg, plead, slight, ignore, threaten or even order Him around at times. Our approach towards Him is poor most of the time.
From this time forth and forevermore: this is the time period that we should bless the Lord for.
This verse tells me that the people were making a covenant to speak well of God for all time.
Application : I will do my best to always speak well of God.
I will change how I see God to someone who is worthy of praise and someone to bless. It will no longer be about what I can get FROM Him, but it will be about what I can do to honor Him. I will honor Him in this life by speaking well of Him.
I will consistently speak well of my God from today until forevermore.
Prayer : Praise the Lord oh my soul, and all that’s within me bless His Holy Name! I LOVE YOU GOD ! I will bless You at all times. Praise for you will continually be in my heart and my mouth. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, amen.
Amen!
I at some point have been guilty of accusing, slighting and even ignore Him … Working on blessings Him from this time forth and even forevermore.
Amen 🙏
