Praise the Lord with Your Whole Heart

By Andrew Williams

I WILL praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous works and wonderful deeds!
Psalm 9:1 AMPC
Praise the Lord with Your Whole Heart

Good morning fellow disciples.

Praise is defined as: the expression of respect and gratitude as an act of worship; and to glorify (a god or saint) especially by the attribution of perfections.

I will praise You, O lord, with my whole heart!
Heart is defined as: one’s innermost character, feelings, or inclinations, and the essential or most vital part of something.

I will praise You Lord, with all of my character, with all of my feelings and with all of my inclinations. I will hold back nothing! Everything that marks my life will be used to give You praise!
Jesus said that out of the fullness of our heart our mouth speaks. I will fill my heart with You, God! I will fill my heart with Your Word! And, because I am filled with Your Holy Spirit, my heart is filled with You!

So now God, I will speak about Your marvelous works and Your marvelous deeds.

Prayer: Father God, You created everything. You made us in Your image. When we sinned against You, You sent Your Son to redeem us. We have eternal life because of You, because You accepted our confessions, forgave us, and made us righteous in Your sight.
Thank You Lord for saving us and adopting us into Your household. We honor You! We glorify You! We praise You! Hallelujah! Amen.
