MAKE A joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands!
Psalm 100:1 AMPC
Good morning fellow disciples.
Praise is defined as: the expression of respect and gratitude as an act of worship; and to glorify (a god or saint) especially by the attribution of perfections.
Noise is defined as: a sound, especially one that is loud or unpleasant or that causes disturbance.
Make a joyful loud sound unto the Lord!
Make a joyfully unpleasant sound unto the Lord! Joyfully unpleasant? To whom? Well, God will accept your praise, but ungodly people may find it unpleasant.
Make a joyfully unpleasant sound unto the Lord that causes a disturbance! Our praise to God should disturb the enemy, and cause people to pay attention to God.
Noise is defined as: to talk about or make known publicly.
We should talk about God and make Him known publicly. We should talk to God about things in public. When we do so we need to do it with joy!
MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE TO THE LORD, ALL YOU LANDS!
Prayer: Father God, the command is for all the lands to make a joyful Noise unto You. It’s not just for a few people, but it’s for everyone. We come before You in worship and with praise, shouting and making joyful noises unto You. Accept our worship, I pray, amen.
