Praise that Grows

By Andrew Williams

For as the earth produces its growth, and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
Isaiah 61:11 HCSB
Praise that Grows

Good morning fellow disciples.

Praise is defined as: the expression of respect and gratitude as an act of worship; and to glorify (a god or saint) especially by the attribution of perfections.

Do you think that your praise is substandard? Do you think that the praise that you’re offering to God will be refused because it is so weak? Are you afraid to praise God, especially in public, because you’re not good at offering praise?

Don’t be!

This verse says that God will allow righteousness and praise to spring up before all the earth. Like a seed that is planted, praise will also go through different growth spurts and growth phases. In the individual it will grow until it’s mature. In the body of Christ, it will continue to grow until it’s mature.

As you continue to praise God as an individual or as part of a group, God will allow your praise to spring up before all the nations. Keep on praising God! You will get better at it! You will continue to grow as your praise continues to grow before the Lord. He will allow the nations to see your praise, as a way for them to also bring glory and honor to Him through perfected praise.

Prayer: Father God, help us to grow in praise, and worship to You. Amen.
