Good morning fellow disciples.
Praise is defined as: the expression of respect and gratitude as an act of worship; and to glorify (a god or saint) especially by the attribution of perfections.
Every day we go through challenging situations. We find ourselves in trouble. We need protection from the enemy, and sometimes even from ourselves. Who do we go to for our protection?
In terms of the ultimate protection, we can only find this in one person, and that person is God Almighty. Have you made Him Lord of your life? If you have, He is the ultimate stronghold and the one who can protect you in all things.
In His presence there is fullness of joy. In His presence no enemy can come and snatch you from His hand. He is a mighty fortress where you can find refuge in your times of need.
We praise God because He is the strongest defender! We praise God because He is FAITHFUL!
As you arise this morning and your thoughts go towards God, are you singing His praises for His overwhelming faithful protection.
Prayer: Father God, thank You, thank You, thank You for being my protector and my stronghold! In You, and in only You do I find complete refuge from the things, and the persons that assail me. I praise You because of who You are. I love You God, and I will forever stay in Your presence. Amen.
