Praise and Worship

Praise and Worship

Then David assigned some of the Levites to the Chest of God to lead worship—to intercede, give thanks, and praise the God of Israel. Asaph was in charge; under him were Zechariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, who played the musical instruments. Asaph was on percussion. The priests Benaiah and Jahaziel blew the trumpets before the Chest of the Covenant of God at set times through the day.
1 Chronicles 16:4‭-‬6 MSG

Good morning fellow disciples.

Isn’t it wonderful when you are in a place where persons are praising God and the presence of the Lord is there!? Well, guess what?! Sometimes those persons are actually assigned to intercede, give thanks, and praise God. Many persons have the opportunity to serve God in this way, and you are one of them!

Give your all as you praise and worship God. Pray for others! Give thanks to God for all that He has done and is doing for you, your family, friends, coworkers, acquaintances, and fellow disciples.

Whether you are assigned to lead worship, to be a part of the praise team or you are just a part of the gathering, I encourage you to worship God as in our prayer which comes from Psalm 100.

Prayer: Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Acknowledge that Yahweh is God. He made us, and we are His — His people, the sheep of His pasture.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For Yahweh is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations.

Amen.
