“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16 HCSB
Good morning fellow disciples.
Gospel : the message concerning Christ, the kingdom of God, and salvation.
Salvation : deliverance from sin and its consequences, believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ.
” I feel no shame, guilt, or disgrace about the message concerning Christ, the kingdom of God, and salvation.” If it wasn’t for Christ Jesus revealing this gospel to us I could never be saved! I would never be adopted into God’s family! I would never have God’s Holy Spirit living in me ! And I wouldn’t get to spend eternity with God, all the saints, and all the angels.”
This is what the gospel offers. It has the power to give us all of this and more , IF we accept it. Will you believe the gospel today and allow it to powerfully save you ?
Prayer : Father God, thank You for sending Jesus to us with the gospel of Your kingdom. I am powerfully saved because I believe it. Help me to share this gospel with others so that they too may feel it’s power and become marvelously saved when they also believe. I ask this in Jesus’ Name, amen.
